Music has always been a rhythmic companion of our lives. People are born with music, study, drive, eat, sleep and dream to music. People even spend more money on music as compared to books.
Music is everywhere when a person talks to avoid silence and some leave a television or radio on in the background or even sing, hymn or whistle. Thus, music is important for the success in live training. We are able to easily make some connection when we view a picture and hear music at the same time. Powerful brain connections occur when music is combined with information.
One who learns something with the music is able to learn and remember much faster.
It is sound that wins
The first silent movies used to last for a minute or two which were immediate and short lived sensations. Absolute silence of voice and music proved as a deadly combination. Thereafter, theatre owners hired musicians on payroll. They told the musicians to play something or anything and when they did, it worked. Music became effective for solving problems as told by the film critics.
Later, radio found itself threatened by television because they feared that combined audio and video signals of TV will bring them out of the business. When there was a choice between a radio and television, they favored television but patronized radio. Sound or talkies destroyed silent movies and thus music won at last.
Again home video games started with visual signals but within short period of time video games with full fledged background sound evolved which again backed the soundless video games.
Music mix
In live training, music is the most preferable weapon and therefore when music is properly inserted into training environment it can lift some cold, lifeless qualities of a typical training. Other uses of music provide cover for silent activities and small group discussions.

ROME, April 6 (Xinhua) -- Genoa head coach Gian Piero Gasperini on Sunday warned his side against a different team in AC Milan when they meet on Monday.
Genoa are to host the Milan side who have improved a lot on those they met last time, according to Gasperini.
"At San Siro earlier this season we earned a valuable point in difficult circumstances, down to 10 men for much of it, but these are two different teams now," he said.
"Milan have rediscovered their pace and have players in attack who can hurt you. The quality of the squad is not reflected in their position in the table," he said.
Gasperini praised his Milan couterpart Clarence Seedorf for advocating attacking football.
"Clarence Seedorf was an idol when he played, as he was a fantastic player and a very likeable man. Even if he jumped a few steps to the big time, as a coach he is making Milan play attacking football," he said.
The term March Madness has nothing to do with this month's unpredictable "in like a lion, out like a lamb" weather patterns.
Instead, it refers to the NCAA (National -Collegiate Athletic Association) men's basketball tournament, whose "madness" emanates from an abundance of David-slaying-Goliath -upsets, obscure players-turned-heroes and the most gambled on American sporting event next to the Super Bowl.
This year's tournament (which begins -Tuesday) promises to be as mad as any in recent memory - for reasons that have more to do with coaches' and players' off-court activities than with the games themselves.
Syracuse University, the 2003 champions, -voluntarily decided not to participate this year in an ingratiating attempt to avoid significant NCAA sanctions for academic fraud. (Last week the NCAA saw through this transparent attempt and hit the school with major penalties.)
The University of North Carolina, a perennial power and five-time champions, will compete in the tournament only one month after the death of Dean Smith, its legendary coach. Coincidentally, the Tar Heels are currently the subject of an NCAA investigation into Syracuse-like misdeeds. Will this be the last tournament appearance for Tar Heels coach and Smith protégé Roy Williams?
But the biggest story line in this year's -tournament has to be the University of Kentucky Wildcats' bid to finish the season with not only an NCAA title, but also an undefeated record.
Coach John Calipari has led three schools to the final four, but two of those trips were later -invalidated when rules violations were -uncovered. Would a perfect record vindicate the career of Calipari, the coach college hoops fans most love to hate?
The last team to go undefeated and win a championship was the 1975-76 Indiana Hoosiers, coached by Bobby Knight.
As a coach, Knight was known for running a squeaky-clean program, but behaving boorishly in public.
Now a commentator for ESPN, there's more than an outside chance that Knight might
be forced to share air time with Calipari. How might the volatile Knight respond to the Kentucky coach, for whom has expressed nothing but disdain?
Let the madness begin.
